We're very sorry for last weekend's bus screwup. For some reason the bus driver went to Fulton House at 9am and not uplands as he should have. On the brighter side, we're not relying on buses this weekend and are taking cars! We're also considering how to improve getting hold of the committee on the day, if you're wondering why the bus is delayed etc!
Next Weekend (Away) - SNOWDONIA - 22nd March - 25th March
There are still a couple of PLACES AVAILABLE. This trip will leave on the friday night and return late on monday, giving 3 days of walking/exploring. We'll try to take in some of the famour ridges and peaks, with Snowdon (highest peak outside of Scotland) obviously being one of these!
The image below shows Tryfan, which is another probable walking spot. We'll be staying in a bunkhouse which has central heating, showers, fully equiped kitchen etc. During the day, you'll only need to carry the normal items eg. water/lunch etc. The rest of the gear will stay in the bunkhouse/cars.
The cost of the trip is £50. This includes transport and accommodation for 3 nights. The deposit for this trip is £20. If you're interested, please come along to JCs signup for a chat.

Pickups for day hikes are: 9am Uplands (outside Sainsburys), 9:05am Student Village (at the bus stop on the main road, opposite Carvery) and 9:15am outside Fulton House. Please remember to bring the hiking basics of food, drink, waterproof jacket, warm layers etc on all day hikes. We aim to return to Swansea by 7-8pm.
We have walk sign-ups every Wednesday and Friday 12:30-1:30pm on the Coffee side of JCs. Come along and join us, they're also perfect for mini-socials!
