Shropshire
Click here for details of our walks in the area.
Shropshire is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of Britain you could imagine. It is officially the quietest countryside anywhere in the UK, and so is definitely suited to those who are looking to chill out from their studies for a while!
There is spectacular countryside and historic towns, remains of Roman Cities, Medieval Castles and Ancient Churches to visit. Last year we also went to Ironbridge, allowing you to see the oldest iron bridge in the World!!
Two years ago we saw Ostriches (in Shropshire??? - ed) and had lots of fun rolling around in heather!! while last years was memorable for the heavy snow that had fallen and then a walk beside the River Severn catching the steam train back to Bridgnorth
